 Jimmy Donaldson, born May 7, 1998, more commonly known as the alias MrBeast is an American YouTube star, entrepreneur and philanthropist. [6] He is credited with establishing the YouTube video genre that is focused on extreme stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson began uploading videos on YouTube in 2012, at the age of 13, under the handle "MrBeast6000" and his initial content ranged from Let's Plays to "videos estimating the riches of other YouTubers." Following the 2017 "Counting to 100,000" video was viewed by tens and thousands of views in a matter of days, Donaldson became an instant YouTube star. His early content included Let's Plays and videos that predicted the amount of money other YouTubers have. Donaldson had several of his childhood buddies assist him in managing the growing channel. MrBeast is Donaldson's main YouTube channel. The channel reached 100 million subscribers on the 28th of July 2022.
